I got my 2JZGE for $250. The N/A motors go for nothing because no one does any research, haha.

Yeah the GE's are pretty common given they're in a few Lexus cars. Find one wrecked, pull the motor, done >w> Did you upgrade the internal parts (( like pistons/rods or anything of that sort )) before turboing it?

I just put on a turbo head gasket and ARP head studs. The Rods are the same Turbo or NA, the pistons are made of the same material as the turbo pistons just a little bit higher compression. The Turbo head gasket puts it at around 9.0:1 compression (The turbo motor is 8.5). Runs pretty strong, still has a lot of low end for regular street driving that I do.

There are swap mounts you can buy, you can use the stock transmission mount, the worst pain was you have to hammer out the transmission tunnel for the transmission I picked.

Ahh, okay owo well it made it a bit more simple! Ufu~
If I got one, I would probably use the 5mge up until it either blew up or a good deal came by. 2j's being 2j's are pretty reliable, doubt I would turbo it though for a while..
