Part of my 'Predator and Prey' series, this fine glass vial contains a real field mouse skeleton that has been gently cleaned and whitened with the tail, paws and rib cage partially articulated. The skeleton is snuggled into a bed of dry-preserved mosses and accompanied by a sprinkle of tiny dried wildflowers, a single dandelion seed and a spear of clear quartz crystal. The skull came from a naturally deceased specimen and was processed by me using environment safe methods; the plants were also collected and dry preserved by me.

The vial is closed with a cork and hangs from an 18 black and silver adjustable ribbon style choker/necklace with lobster clasp. I can switch that to a black 20 inch chain on request for no additional charge.

The 3 inch tall vial is accented with a brightly colored metallic Elytra beetle wing and several vertebrae bones from an adult redtail boa which is attached with small silver electroplated links. The snake vertebrae also came from a naturally deceased specimen.
