I've actually got another image in my head where the above phrase would fit in more perfectly. I guess only time will tell if I get around to it or not.
IN ANY CASE. I love this picture. The coloring is kinda 'eh' because I found out that the contest it originally was drawn to be put into ends tommorow. SO I kinda went with what I could.
Before anyone says anything- OPTIMUS PRIME was hard as hell to color. Originally he was going to have a red body and then it looked so gaudy I couldn't stand it. SO he changed to white...that still didn't look right. SO back to red, then blue THEN to grey. That panel on his face didn't help any either.
But yes, I love this picture. They are bootiful. Look at my horrible attempt at a background! *gasp* And also, is that action lines? *horror*
Oh well, I guess we'll see how it holds up on Seibertron.com.

I love you in the totally platonic yet utterly devouted way that only one Transfan could possibly love another human being, when said human being has created an iconic image that can and should be worshipped at the Cybertonian temple of one's choice.

Prime or the bot that was Prime was like a delivery boy on Cybertron before the decepticons waged war. Two of the autobot plane combiner team travel back in time and see the start of the war. I Autobots are like "WOW, Those new Decepticons are so cool they can like fly and look cool and shit", then Megatron is like "N00bz!" and then Autobots stat exploding and shit. Nasty stuff. The bot that would become Prime is mortally wounded as is his girlfriend. So Alpha Tryon(?) rebuilds them as Optimus Prime and Eleta. Then much ownage happens and the two combiners get back to the future and are like "DUDE!", "DUDE!!!", "SWEET, and they go on like that for the last 5 minutes of the show.
I thought red body, with blue flanks/legs could work. But I can also see how garish it might be.

I try. :P If you would have seen what I had to put up with when trying to color Prime...ugh...so much recoloring...
Mixing too insanely different franchises is fun. Especially when both are somewhat of a taboo when it comes to cartoon anything. I guess I just like making them look much meaner then most people draw them as. Exagerrated expressions are my favorites and that can't be pulled off with cutesy-wutesy crap.
I posted this same image on a MLP based forum and I got a lot of "Oh thats pretty but its scary" sorta comments. I guess if I EVER decide to post anything dealing with 'shenanigans' they'll hate me foreveh.
