I have a few very old naga characters, and so I recently decided to redesign and draw them to break an artblock that has been plaguing me.

This is Trexl. In his older design, he was a lot leaner and more snappy looking. Trexl is part blue krait and part bushmaster. He's extremely venomous and very hostile to other snakes. His mother was a blue krait, and killed and ate his father soon after Trexl was born. Trexl is both ophiophagous and cannibalistic, but this practice is not taken well in civilized society, so other nagas are generally safe around him as long they aren't in a secluded area and Trexl is hungry. He is often socially gauche and rude to other nagas; he has a dislike of social correctness and doesn't like playing around. He's extremely blunt, and doesn't take well to subtlety. Tact is an art he never learned.

He doesn't really like the company of others and isn't fond of talking. He travels most of the time, often along trade routes where he preys on weak nagas traveling alone. His venom is mainly neurotoxic, from the krait half of his anscestry, but also causes massive internal bleeding and tissue necrosis. His bite is nearly always fatal, not due to the strength of his venom but to the sheer amount he injects, as bushmaster snakes do.

Trexl's markings are a combination of his parents'. He has blue krait coloring with bushmaster markings, the easily recognized triangular patterns, but blue on black scales rather than the less tropical brown and black colors of the bushmaster.
