Toledo on his Vespa PX 150
yes... he is more win than you thought
I reallized during the coloring that Haruko is known for her yellow Vespa.... I swear that was not an intentional reference (Atleast Toledo has a PX 150 and not the SS 180 like her)
Anyways, this took 2 days of work to draw, one day setting up the picture with rough sketches, and another to get the linework and coloring in, and 3 seperate scans of the picture to get a good one... it was worth it in the end I think C:
Another note: Toledo doesn't have any 'default clothes' and other than his waiter outfit, wears whatever
advanced critique please?

WHAT?!?!?! You create this amazing work and not a single comment?!?!?!
OK I realize this is 3 years old and all, but dammit, this is unheard of!!! You requested critique, so here it is! .... a belated critique, but whatever!
<cough cough>
The image does look good, but it does quite remind me of some more old cartoons I would see in the day.... I doubt Rocko's Modern Life is a proper comparison, but whatever! It looks good, although I'd say the styles clash a bit: the upper part of the body is simplistic while the feet are more realistically detailed. Perhaps this was your intention, I don't know. I guess some would comment on the motorcycle too, but I don't know a thing about these, so whatever.
I would say you have certainly improved, although to me this really seems like something very "stylized". Am I right or wrong there?

Yeah it happens rather often actually, I try not to let it bug me much anymore
Ah well... but I guess someone has seen this, eh? Hah, so thanks for the feedback.
And I did used to watch that show alot, not sure if it inspired this or anything... I did notice the style clash, it really comes from the level of visual noise with the feet having a lot more lines and detail. Just how things ended up I suppose.
And I guess you could call it a bit stylized. Honestly I do not remember much of what I was thinking when I drew this, it was so long ago

I know the pain of putting your heart into a picture and it getting no attention, although as time goes, it becomes a less common occurrence.
And I guess the shirt just seems really familiar to me, but perhaps it's just me watching too many cartoons through the years so that a lot of stuff can look familiar to me
