he save her life , return her memory to her , went through the whole journey for her (and the kid at first), they was even a scene when she get's her memory back she stays with link alone (which may symbolize their love), and she actually had a childhood w/ him (which alot of time evolve into love).....=3 have i said enough
well he does get some , if you go to the desert level (the tomb one) and enter the small room just across of the latern oil (when you pass the ocean of sand at the entrance) , you'll notice once you transform into wolf link, and reach all the way towards the trecher chest (and wait a while doing nothing) you'll notice that wolf link can get Flees
