You know, Richard Strauss is probably my favorite composer of all time.

This is an OLD recording from when I was in college. A friend of mine pulled an ad-hoc orchestra together to perform Strauss's 2nd Horn Concerto (among other things). The piece also has some major clarinet solos and since I can't really post the piece unless I have a major part in it, here are those solos, hehe.

Three clips this time. Two shorter ones from the first section of the piece (the clarinet solos) and one long clip from the slow movement, a big woodwind soli section with beautiful melodies.

Yeah... it's a group of college kids performing on not-enough-rehearsal time. So there are things you'll hear that aren't quite right. Hope you can enjoy the rest of it and enjoy hearing me when I was several years younger, hehehe
