This character into what it is now! The lore has been the same, but I wanted them to look less and less human. I'm happy with the results!
Ewithas are guardian gods who care for lost souls and whispers. They come to be when enough souls and whispers have
accumulated in an area. They stand guard for souls until they find their way to the next life. They also remain until forgotten whispers fades into history.
Depending on the type of souls or whispers accumulated, the sticky sap from their core can be healing, poisonous, or other
stimulus. The tears and saliva are the same sap from the core.
The core is decorative and can be in
various shapes. It can also be located on the forehead, navel, back, but is commonly found on the chest.
