there are two types of art, in my opinion:
one that has skill, an obvious effort that was done with time in perfecting craft, something that registers in your brain: "This is art."
Another is something that triggers you emotionally. You'll see a painting of a house in a meadow, and you start reminiscing about your grandpa's house you went to when you were a kid, and when he's still alive. It refisters in your heart: "This is art."
anyway, I thought up of a challenge to try to conquer: make something with bright colors, an obvious happy picture when its seen on sight. But has an obvious layer of sadness. You know, Disney stuff. Lol

This is inspired off of a comic doodle I saw once. A guy meets an old man on a podium in heaven, next to a familiar dog, who barks at the new guy happily. The old man smiled and said something like "so you're Johnny? Rex has been going on and on for 40 years."
