The Thief was meant to be a companion character to the Magician. The general idea was to make her needlessly flirty and annoying(for the Magician at least), but visually different. Where the Magician is a general sexy, I went for a more cute-sexy approach for the Thief...by which I mean she has bigger boobs, but is generally not hot at all. I wanted her to be sympathetic to the Magician's harsh treatment, but still take pleasure in harassing her.
As for the design...well, it's not really one of my prouder moments. The Magician eventually went on to steal Adell's hairstyle, but the Thief is an alarming rip-off of Disgaea 2's Thief...except she has huge knockers. She also possesses a slightly altered version of Mario's hat, adorned with a button that reads "Deep in U", which is a song from DDR(or Beatmania), a phrase I felt accentuated her personality(I should've went with E-Rotic's "Do It All Night"). Her striped shirt is a reference to the striped outfits that cartoon criminals tend to wear. She is, in effect, stealing everything...and no, it wasn't intentional...besides the stripes.
