Finally finished the jaw, including elastic for rebounding, installing the painted sculpey jawset, and black foam lower lip. Also worked painstakingly hard to construct eyelids with black foam, made a pair of ears with felt and foam and mounted the toggle switch for the LED eyes inside one of them. I've made some serious progress, and even though this guy's not furred yet, I think it's reached the point of being acceptable for the con in a week and a half.
I'm still debating whether or not to cut holes for the ears in the hood of the sleeveless hoodie I'll be wearing (under another jacket and with gloves to cover my hands). It'll ruin the hoodie, but I never really wore it that much to begin with and it might help with stability and such.
