First off, it's lovely. The colors are interestingly soft. It makes me wonder what it'd look like with a bolder or darker palette, but the one you've chosen is very appealing. The flames are definitely an eye catcher, but the obvious draw for me is their eyes, so close together, with Mewtwo's standing out the better. Props to your execution and the commissioner's idea for such a unique setup: they're close enough and in the right position for intimacy, but all that's happening is (apparently dubiously consensual) tickling, which is really cute and adds a slight feel of playfulness or peril despite the warm atmosphere the colors invoke. It's an incredibly complex choreography you have going on here, but the lines are more than clear enough. Their positions, hinting at movement, and their expressions both really sell it. Great work.
