So like I rarely tread into furry stuff when it comes to making cosplay stuff myself, but I kind of wanted hooves like my OC Lucifer.
So... Yeah. I'm still not sure if this will come out well after all.
I shaped foam slabs, toilet paper and then coated it in wood putty, I was expecting a hard and stiff wood-like finish with the putty but it seems to have a little give when I touch it even now that it's dried. Worry. Because I was going to generously coat it with the putty and sand it down so it was smooth and finish it with a strong glue finish. These need to handle walking, so I'm trying to get them to look right and of course survive wear and tear!!
It took longer than planned yesterday, but today is commission day, so no need to worry.
Any tips for me though??? I want it to have an almost cement-strong finish. And perhaps sound like hooves when walking.
