Burns too brightly by the day,
Each night turns into decay,
Prophets tell us not to be afraid,
There is an answer to a hopeless rage.
We close our eyes, we don't understand,
Kill us quickly or just make demands,
We will meet you, Never greet you,
Is this not what you expected to see.
There's a price to many lies,
Under dressed and ill disguised,
Turn it up, enjoy the sound,
Let it shake you to the ground,
You're alive.
These kingdoms weren’t made of glass,
Built to shatter not to last,
Thank them for the light they give you,
Bless them for the drugs they give you,
Are you not entertained?
Each night turns into decay,

We close our eyes, we don't understand,
