I need to get back into that game. I loved how Rytlock seemed blatantly jealous of Queen Jennah.

She obviously used her mesmer powers to manipulate Logan into protecting her, I'd be jealous too if I was in love with him.

Never letting go of the theory that Rytlock felt personally abandoned by his beloved.

Actually whether or not it was romantic that's more than just a theory. A bond in a warband is stronger than that of lovers, so Rytlock absolutely did feel personally abandoned. He outright freaks out in the book, practically begging Logan to stay. I'm still a fan of Rytlock having a thing for Logan though. The book is definitely the weakest of the GW2 books, but I still liked it and I think that scene was one of the better ones. They had some missed opportunities, like revealing Logan taught Rytlock how to swim but just mentioning it in passing.

“Are you all right?” Rytlock asked, striding up beside him.
Logan gaped at his friend.
“Come on! Spit it out. We’ve got an Elder Dragon on the way.”
“Queen Jennah,” Logan muttered. “She’s in trouble.”
Rytlock grasped Logan’s shoulder and hoisted him to his feet. “What are you talking about?”
Logan said. “She’s calling to me! I have to go!”
“What?”
“She needs me!”
“We need you!”
“I swore an oath—”
“Yeah, to us.”
“No, to her.”
Rytlock’s eyes blazed “You’re part of my warband. You are my brother. You can’t abandon us!”

Oh, I haven't reached that part yet. Nice!
