The earliest ancestor of the Puppy family, a prehistoric dire wolf. Dud met Fred when they were after the same mammoth and fought over it. Dud lost and Fred got the prey instead. Not wanting to leave the wolf empty pawed Fred gave Dud one of mammoth's tusks and feeling so thankful for the gift, Dud followed Fred back home and started guarding his cave, starting the first Katswell/Puppy friendships throughout history.
