During his time on the battlefields as a griffin soldier, freelancer, and Sanctuary Executor, Dusk routinely took to using a high power, custom revolver which could be quickly modified into a high power sniper. Its impossible to tell who's service he was in at this event, but it can be certain that there were casualties for whoever was at the far end of his scope.

It is a lesser known fact that along with their ferocity in close quarters fighting, griffins make exceedingly excellent marksmen. Their natural talents for reading the winds and weather conditions allow them to make adjustments so minute that even the best trained of other races would fail to achieve them. When paired with their naturally superior vision, strong musculature, and incredible respiratory system a griffin can land shots that others would deem impossible. A griffin sniper's ability to fly is their best asset, allowing them to find places to nest that few other races could reach or, even more lethally, the best of griffin snipers are able to fire with disturbing accuracy while airborn.

Snipers like these, like Dusk, can strike from any angle against almost any position with lethal precision. Those who fight against griffins like this speak of them with a terrified, amazed tone of voice, having seen their thoroughly fortified positions turn into bloody shooting galleries. Those who fight alongside them find their abilities beyond useful and watch with rapturous amazement as they find their marks again and again even against impossible odds.
