More work towards the comic ideas. This is a single panel from a page of roughly 6 panels. Practicing all kinds of things, but mostly some technical practice on maintaining the same lighting/colors between the different panels.
I'm not personally happy with the sparkling/lens flare for the golden scales. I like the idea of the effect, but I'm not executing it correctly. Practice should make perfect... eventually.
