So  TrickyChimera and I are both big fans of the recent visual novels like When The Seagulls Cry, Dangan Ronpa, 999 and Zero Escape. Which inspired us to try and make our own... maybe. So far it's been over 2 years since we became somewhat serious about it. And we managed to design quite the cast of interesting characters and a set up that is reminiscent of the previously mentioned novels for it. And I threw this together for my most recent animation class. A rough idea of what the prologue scenes would look (and maybe even sound) like. It's rough and looks bad, but I only had five weeks before my computer had an unfortunate contact with a five year old and sweet tea.

We're planning out multiple storylines, and four murder cases that will be seen and solved differently depending on if you choose to play as a boy (Shiro Kuhaku) or as a girl (Emi Tango). Although this conceptual flash animation follows only one possible storyline, namely Emi's.
