A commission I did for
WanderingFerret! It is a group shot of his three Redwall otter characters, Elias is on the right, Tobias in the center and Phineas on the left. Elias and Tobias are younger twins, with Elias being the quiet one of the two. This was quite the fun image to create. =3
I used two new brushes I made. One for the foliage, and one for the grass. I was tired of the ones Photoshop provided so I made my own. Also I'm quite happy with how the lighting came out. It has the warm atmosphere I wanted from this. =3
The characters depicted belong to
WanderingFerret.

It's a good point, but they're supposed to be siblings. I wanted to avoid too much variation between them, especially the twins in the shadows. I added a slightly different fur pattern to the older otter sitting on the log, but that's about it. I do understand your point though, and it's definitely something I should be careful of with pics with multiple characters like this. =3

I wasnt watching you on FA? TRAVESTY. I wrote this on your DA as well :3
I think you utterly succeeded with the foliage and leaves especially. I fing grass is usually all growing in one direction when I look at it, thats teh overall effect of seeing a lawn, its not as back and forth as you've got yours.. but yours looks a little windy, and grass isnt perfect! Yours rocks, its so detailed. I love this to pieces. On my monitor the characters are all kinda shadowed though, which makes me sad cuz your expressions are so great. I wish there was a uniform universal monitor constant! Why has this not been implemented, I demand an answer.
Love this, Temiree. We should do otter collabs someday, honest. -Crash

Yeah I've noticed that myself, especially on laptops where it has that privacy feature on the screen, where when you look at it on an angle, it either gets really dark or really bright, to hide the screen. I've found when I look at my own art on there, it sometimes looks drastically different than it should, just because the monitor is tilted too high.
As for collabs and stuff, I'm not accepting any right now. I have one with Katmomma that we've been planning for a long time, but right now I want to avoid any more commitments until I get my job situation settled. =3

Oh my God! This is so beautiful. One of the best pieces I have come across along with the other one with the Pyramids on green land. You are a most excellent artist and have a splendid imagination. I envy your talents so much when it comes to backgrounds and good characters. ^\/^.
