I know the feeling. :( I wouldn't be going to the convention this year if not for being able to present this one final time at it. There are lots of great reasons to go, but it's expensive, (as with any convention). Curse you medical bills! :)
As for the presentation itself, I am always glad to share how BronyCon records the panels that take place in the primary halls. We also openly share all of our content on sites like "www.facebook.com/hapotales" so nobody is left out on what we try to advocate for through our cause. :)

Life can be so cruel even at the worse of times. Just feeling I'll never go to my first one before it's to late. :'c And stupid medical bills indeed.
I don't go to that site anymore heck, hardly even do unless been told to or just need to say something. But I can imagine how fun it be going for the very first time..

The first BronyCon I attended was in 2013 and it took place on the very one year anniversary of when I had a major, medical situation that hospitalized me for over a month. So, for me, attending BC with my son, who was 6 at the time, was a major win for my self-esteem after enduring numerous surgeries, complications, and further loss of what little vision I had left.
What was really adorable was how much fun my son and I had. We had a family friend, who was into Pony at the time, take us down and everyone was so nice to my son. Cathy Weseluck, voice of Spike and Coco Pommel, even took a picture of us for her Twitter after we met.
It was through all the kindness people showed me at BronyCon despite my condition of being nearly totally blkind that made me realize how wonderful the community was for those with special needs. So, I wrote the BronyCon staff and asked them if they'd consider putting on a presentation of how those with limitations / special needs / etc. benefitted from MLP: FiM and they wrote back, "You can always submit a panel.". I did and, well, the rest is history. :)

Am so glad you learn a lesson from your first time, just others could understand, but not they rather hate and judge us and call names and harass. That's makes them week and no male or female wants to hang around jerks... but am glad you got to write for them that makes me very happy. c:
Being here on FA, coupled with personal experience, has really given me a very sobering understanding of how to positively advocate for those of us who go misunderstood as a result of conditions, limitations, etc. There is a lot of ignorance in our world and the only way to fix it is through educating people that we're just as human as they are and not textbook definitions, stereotypes, or stigmas.
A lot of things in the news have shown we have quite a long way to go towards a true sense of "Community" within society, but we can all play our parts towards making things better for those who will come after us to continue our efforts for "Acceptance", "Understanding", and "Empowerment". :)

I really appreciate your support, my friend. :) It truly is a team effort from all of us that will make our world a better place.
I just got back from a series of major eye appointments. Got some good news, too! I'm still going to soon be totally blind, but the other health issues are no longer in play. Yay!
It's hard to believe BronyCon is less than two weeks away. The team and I are very eager to put forth some hardcore advocacy to show how MLP has played such a role in creating a, for the most part, positive community for those of us with special needs, disabilities, and limitations. :)

Thank you so much, Leon. You've always been the greatest of supports for this effort and I'm ever-elated to have you as a part of it. :)
If you think of anything you feel I should include on the "Flash Drives", or should be sure to try and mention while at the convention, please let me know. This effort is to help empower and encourage advocacy, self-esteem, and other positives for those who may not otherwise feel opportunity, or hope, is out there. Let's continue to keep playing the best parts possible to ensure a brighter future for all. :)
