Relatively quick light and color study for the first on my upcoming series of dragon paintings. Fairly happy with the lighting, though it'll be a bit of a process to tighten it all up for the final piece, and i do want to make the composition a little more interesting without getting too messy. This is a little bigger than 4"x6", the final will probably be 9"x12"
Probably a working title, i'm not sure. I was going to paint him displaying his nice plumage for the ladies, but he's looking like more of a sunbather.
