this is just something small i've had lying around for a while that i've been meaning to post here. sense devianart got latias figured it would be... appropriate to post the other one here.

I sighed, as I stood on the balcony of my apartment. My name is azure, funny name I know but it’s mine. I was so excited earlier; today my family was going to alo mare for vacation. Or at least that’s what I thought, I still went but my parents were too busy. Being managers of sliph co, they were always too busy. “I shouldn’t be surprised; they never seem to care very much.” I sighed as I went inside. I’d arrived relatively late Friday so there wasn’t a whole lot of daylight to do anything with. My butler who’d accompanied me was sitting in a lounge chair reading as I slipped into the bed. I was almost asleep when I thought I saw a shadow pass by my window but ignored it as superstition.

The next day the two of us were wandering around the town. I’d found an older man offering to let kids try the some water board thing out. I was interested but still needed to ask first. “it’s up to you young master but do be careful.” I nodded and said I’d like to give it a try. He smiled but asked if I had a water Pokémon with me. I frowned, “no sorry.” My mother hated trainers and thought of them as nothing but distractions. In turn, her and my father were at odds because he still was one. He smiled and asked me to walk down to the water with him. in the canal I found several seedra swimming. He whistled and one of them came over, “seedra here will help you out… oh Bianca!” I turned to see a girl older than me with a strange haircut waving. She headed off down the path on the canal not long after. “Stranger girl, sometimes she talks other times she’s quiet as a mouse.”

After giving me an explanation that summed up to hold on I was off with the others. this was a lot more fun than sitting around a room all day and I enjoyed it. every now and then id see this blurry outline of something flying beside me. I thought I was seeing things but asked about it anyhow once we’d finished. “ah that was probably latias. She enjoys kids and would do something like that.” I was a little surprised but shrugged it off as we went on my way. After a long day the two of us were on our way back to the apartment. It was alright but I had the feeling I was being followed. Stopping I turned around to see those same ripples as before fly around the corner. “is something wrong?” I shook my head saying I thought I’d seen something.

I was outside on the balcony that night as I often was. Tomorrow is my last day here before I return to hoenn, “back to the boring life.” I was lost in some thought when everything went dark for a second. “who’s there,” Looking around I saw those ripples again hovering just in front of the balcony. Whatever it was had been following me all day. But rather than vanishing when my eyes found it, it just hovered there. My expression turned curious, “it’s ok you can come out.” it took a moment before the figure revealed itself to be latios. It was holding something which it handed to me. “Please look after him and he’ll look after you, P.S. he’s a little shy.” was scribbled onto a piece of paper. I looked up at him as he came down my height. “lat?” it looked at me hopefully, this was almost to unbelievable. Reaching out it nudged my palm confirming I wasn’t dreaming.

Inside my butler was watching things with a smile before asking me if I was going to invite him in. the three of us wound up eating together that night. As I slept that night latios was on the bed next to me. I’d spent the entirety of the next day with latios doing lots of different things and having fun the whole time.

That was about three days ago now and I was on my way home. I live in the hoenn region at a villa my parents originally only had for business trips but i convinced them to let me live there. Getting into the car my butler had informed me that my father was waiting for us. between my mother and my father I was closer to him than the mile stretch between me and her. looking out the window I saw latios playing in the skies above us. I didn’t currently have a pokeball for latios so he had to follow us in the air.

As I got out of the car I was greeted by my dad. “how was the trip?” I told him it was fine, “I know you wanted us to be there but something came up.” I sighed, “I know.” He looked at me then sighed kneeling, “listen some things have been happening lately, I’m not going to go into the details but if things keep up I might… oh.” He looked up as did I to see latios landing beside me. Dad looked at it then me, unlike my mom he encouraged me to find a Pokémon that I’d liked and offered to help me get one. I couldn’t imagine what he was thinking right now. “Hum, it’s been a while since I’ve had a battle.” I smiled slightly and asked latios what he wanted to do, “Lat!” he liked the idea.

My dad and I battled me and latios vs him and his blazekin. Latios fought well but blazekin was strong, a critical shadow claw ended things. I helped latios up as dad laughed; “it’s been to long sense we’ve done something like this hu blitz?” the blazekin nodded and said something to latios who nodded. As he left that day he said he’d come back at the end of the week. “just don’t let your mom find out about him before then, arceus knows she’ll have a miltank if she does.”

I did a pretty good job of keeping my little secret a secret. most of the people working in the villa thought of him as the best thing that’s happened to me in years. Each morning I’d wake up, get dressed and do my usual for the day. I spend most of the morning with one of the servants who was also my personal tutor. After that I had to practice my flute, one of the few things my dad actually required of me. once that was done I had the rest of the day to spend with latios.

Almost a week has passed now and I was wide awake when I heard my mother was visiting for the day. I told latios he had to stay in my room until she was gone and he nodded. I hugged him saying I didn’t like it either, “but if she sees you she’ll make me get rid of you.” After getting into some of my fancier clothes I left then room and him. I was in the main hall when she arrived, a tall thin woman wearing an dress. Behind her was her Persian although I didn’t like that Pokémon one bit. It always looked for trouble and often got me into it when she was around. The two of us sat together in the back garden although at some point I lost track of her Persian.

Latios was snoozing in his master’s room when he felt something batting his face. Opening his eyes he was met by a feline Pokémon he didn’t recognize. She looked at him with a mischievous smiled, “hello.” Uneasily he returned the smiled. Hopping onto the bed the cat looked him over before asking what he was doing there. “my master told me to stay here, he said that he didn’t want me to be seen.” In that instant the Persian let out another smirk. “oh I see, but you have nothing to worry about. She’s on her way out right now.” out the back door anyhow. Latios smiled like a child before heading out of the room. “all too easy.” The Persian leisurely strolled out back before the dumb dragon knew he was dooped.

I thought it suspicious when the Persian suddenly showed up. It was glaring at me with that same look it always did when it was trying to get me into trouble. I was trying to avoid thinking about what it had done when latios bulldozed me with a hug. “the cat said the mean lady was gone.” My mother looked at the dragon then me. she started this long rant about how she forbade me from being a trainer and started yelling at me. I got tired of it and shouted, “YOU DON’T CARE ABOUT ME!” I ran and latios wasn’t far behind me. I kept running until I couldn’t hear her anymore.

When I finally stopped I turned around looking latios in the eyes. He was on the verge of tears, he messed up and he knew it. I wasn’t mad at him and hugged him telling him it was alright. “come on, I know a place we can stay till tomorrow.” Latios nodded and followed me to a small almost benign mountain path. Following it we eventually came to a natural hot spring resting inside a cauldron of sorts. Living close to larvaridge town, springs like this one weren’t all that uncommon.

I was to cough up in the area to notice something was watching us. Before I knew what was happening that something pushed over and dealt me a big wet lick. Looking up I was greeted by an entei looking down at me with a big grin. I smiled up remembering him from the last time something like this had happened.

“hey big guy” I patted the side of his face and introduced him to Latios. He released me and looked at me as if asking what I was doing there. He was smart like that, always knew when something was wrong when I came to him. I explained what had happened to him and asked f I could stay with him until tomorrow. He nodded and motioned me inside watching the path for a bit before joining us.

There were other Pokémon in the area who I was friends with. Most of them were happy to see me and I introduced latios to them. Sense I was there I’d figured I would hop in. I recovered some swim shorts I’d left there from one of my previous visits to the area. always meant to get them but never got around too it. the place wasn’t all that far from the house, heck it’s only a two or three minute walk when you know the way. Luckily for me, no one besides dad knows the way.

We were having a good time playing with the younger pokemon. guess I got a little carless because I accidentally splashed entei who was snoozing nearby. He got up and playfully pushed me into the water before returning to his spot. I just laughed as I got up, latios and the others did so as well. “oh funny hu.” I lept up and pulled latios in with me causing both of us to laugh even more. We were having so much fun I didn’t noticed the clouds gathering in the sky. It took an almost instantaneous rainfall to tell us what was happening. Entei led us to a cave near the back of the area and left us there. Probably to make sure all of the others made it to theirs.

Latios watched Azure change out of his wet clothes into his dry ones before huddling up against him. the psychic dragon looked at his friend to find him shivering. Nudging him as if asking if he was ok. “I’m ok… ACHOO. I’m just a little wet still.” Latios felt him, just a little wet, he was soaked even in the dry clothes which were now damp. Latios was smart enough to know this wasn’t good. Looking around entei was nowhere to be found to make a fire. “guess I’ll need to improvise.” Latios mumbled hovering in front of azure.

I looked up to see latios hover in front of me, “do you trust me?” I looked up at him shocked, “you can talk? And of course I trust you.” Latios smiled, “ok please don’t freak out.” Suddenly he pushed me over and grabbed my head in his mouth. “hey, what are you doing.” His response was to lick me, “your wet, I’ll warm you up.” I stayed still as his tongue began licking every inch of my face before he took a gentle swallow.

Latios smiled some as he reached azure’s shoulders. he was especially happy that azure trusted him so much, though he would have done this either way. licking everything he could as he went he finally reached the waist of the boy. The dip in the spring made him very wet but latios still licked every inch replacing the cold water with warm saliva. As Azure began entering his throat he actually started to enjoy this. upon reaching the waist latios stopped licking and swallowed. As the feet neared his mouth he removed the shoes and socks and started licking the exsposed soles. This caused an uproar of movment and laughing to come from the bulge in his throat causing him to loose concentration and land on the ground laughing until it stopped. After that he swallowed what was left and looked down at the bulge in his neck as it vanished into his body.

It was a tight fit in latios’ gullet but I managed, as I slid into his belly I began warming up. “you comfy in there?” I sat aginst his belly and rubbed it getting a pur from him. “I’m ok, I’m feeling a little sleepy though. Mind?” I felt a rub, “not at all.” I snuggled up and fell asleep inside my friend.

Alan, Azures father was in the middle of a meeting when he got a phone call. “I need to answer this… yes?” the others watched him sit up and walk out. Alan was listening to his old friend when he told him what had happened. his eyes shot wide and he said he would wrap thing up quickly. After about five minutes he was done and headed out. He threw out a pokeball revealing a gardevoir, “use teleport.” It nodded and they reappeared in front of the house.

Walking in he found his wife yelling at anyone and everyone around her. “where is he!” the servant’s in rain coats said they hadn’t found anything. His wife turned to start yelling at him, he growled telling her to shut up. “where did he go?” Azures butler pointed towards the mountain behind the villa. “of course, swanna go find him.” the released pokemon nodded and flew off.

It was around 10 minutes before she returned confirming his suspition. Once the rain cleared he started for the area alone. This happened before, that time was his own fault. He made a promise he couldn’t keep and azure took it hard. found him in the care of an entei living in the mountains behind their home. Never figured out how it got there, maybe it was the volcano but even then he had his doubts. Heading into the area he found that same entei waiting for him. the two exschanged a silent nod before It led him into a cave where he found azure being held close by his latios. Kneeling down next to them he sighed, his choice was made.

When I woke up next it was in my room with latios. When I got up I noticed an absol sitting on the couch and my dads blazekin and gardevoir keeping an eye on the door. when my butler came in with breakfast he told me my dad and mom were breaking up. Apparently the two had been fighting about a lot of things while I wasn’t around and yesterday was the last straw. “Your mother was none too pleased and the two are arguing in the other room.” I could hear it now but nothing solid.

That was a week ago, today I was in the back seat of the car being driven to the docks. “what are we doing here?” my butler said it was a surprise and that id see soon enough. Pulling up to the docks I saw a man scarcely resembling my father wearing vacation clothes. Something I’d never seen him in for longer than an hour before he got a call saying he had buissness. He was around a lot more now that he wasn’t being pushed around by mom.

“I have a present for you, a little something to show how far you’ve come with your friend.” My dad took out an unusual flute and told me to play it. as I did so I felt something heading this way. Looking up I found it was latios who had stayed home because there wasn’t any room in the car. I seriously need to get a pokeball for him. He tackled me with a smile as my dad explained that flute was an eon flute. “one of two, keep it with you and you will never lose one another no matter the distance.” I thanked him. “well enough stalling we’d better get moving if we want to catch the boat to alo mare.”

Now ten years old and a full trainer I look back on those times with a smile. With latios at my side we set out on our journey together.
