Dimetrodons are one of my favorite extinct animals, I make it my chore to make sure folks know they're not actual dinosaurs. (But I'm not gonna make a big deal out of it lol)

They are pretty daggum awesome (biased opinion, of course :P) and you so rarely hear or see anything about them. That was part of why I decided to go with a Dimetrodon for this character...but mainly it was because they are neat and the dorsal fin would be fun, heh.
