Welcome to my childhood world...

Traditionally you'd think a girl's toys would be busy playing 'house', 'family' and 'career' games. Not MY toys! They didn't have time for such trivial things. They were too busy in an underground rsistance fighting the evils of Murky Dismal in his hades-bent quest to corrupt the world into destruction and then recreate it with him as the ultimately worshipped power. (Cuz, taking over the world just doesn't work. You constantly have rebellions and disrespect all over the place. But if you destroy the world and rebuild it under your thumb, then no one would dare thwart you.)

As all evil needs an army, Murky's random monsters eventually became an army of Koosh balls. Not the kooshy, puffy fun little guys either. These things were sort of like bouncing porcupines. Their rubber strands were spikey quils of doom to whomever touched (or got bumped into by) one.

Uhh, yeah, my toys got a bit of an upgrade in abilities and such. :)

Here are the two main forces within the resistance. A Wish Bear figurine from around 1983 who became the Wizard Wish. She was the advisor and protector of the group until 1988 when the Bambi figurine (who, naturally was called Felina) joined the frey and became the reluctant leader. Her brother was eaten by a rampaging Slinky. She was forced to recognize Murky's malevolance and joined to prevent others from having to endure such a loss.

The things running across the bottom are Clipses. I figured that every world had to have random creatures to scatter and scare. Plus, they were good eatin - provided you could catch them. I had a 'plushie chain' for keeping my plush collection hanging about with. It included plastic clothespins with hooks in them. Hehe, it's amazing what you can make toys out of.

Um...yeah I'm a messed up little girl. I've actually been thinking about doing a comic update upon my old playtime games. *Shrug* just another of many ideas I've had. Would anyone even be interested in such a story?
