About Gemies:

Off shoots of Geoty fairies these little guys are Gemies. As the name suggests they have a much more focused pallet then the rest of their family tree and like to eat precious stones and metals. Gemies can grow tiny stones on any part of their body and then use that stone to magically shift their shape (See regular hand verse claw as an example above). A powerful Gemie can shift its entire body at once while most can only do one or two parts. Unlike Geoty who are a foot or less tall a Gemie can grow to be up to five feet tall with enough food. Gemies also have magic to blend into scenery or temporarily appear as stone to hide from humans and other predators.
