Hey! First off I just want to thank you for making a character based on a very important but often overlooked civilization in history! We really do need fantasy with more influence from these lesser known peoples, it is a breath of fresh air in a world where most designs come based off central Europe or Japan.
The only criticism I would have for this piece, is that I think a Nimcha would look wonderful in exchange for what looks like a cross between Shashka and a Shamshir. The Moorish Nimcha is such an interesting and exotic looking weapon, I think it would add a lot of originality and extra detail to the character. Especially because most fantasy depicted weapons are only ever based off one or two real counterparts, and end up looking all the same except for very minor differences. (Most notably, Longsword and Katana)

Then again, thats just a matter of personal preference and not actually a gripe with the illustration. This is fucking wonderful, and keep it up.
