One would wonder with the design being radially symmetrical whether her decks are boost-aligned (down being in the direction of thrust) or longways (like ships currently, decks perpendicular to the direction of movement). The gun arrays say the latter, the symmetry the former (at least from a hard sci-fi standpoint).

It took me at least three read-throughs of your post to understand what you were on about, but I think I get it. You're asking about the deck orientation. I'll be honest, when I designed it, I thought of the decks 'longways', not 'boost-aligned'. I believe the pull of gravity for this vessel resides in the centre along the length of the vessel, so the decks are all orientated so 'up' is outwards into space, and 'down' is towards the centre of the ship. Does that answer your question?
Yes, quite thoroughly and well, thanks! ^_^
Intriguing mention, though, that the alignment would be towards center-ship instead of longways or boost-aligned. Reason, if any, other than "Looks and felt cool" (which is MORE than perfectly valid in my eyes, mind you...)?
I like the work you're doing, hon. Please keep it up!
