OMG I hate drawing armor but I love telling stories <_<. Anyway, while we're on gw2 some history with Kayza and Zra. This takes place years in the past where they were friends in the Vigil. These days he's an Iron tribune and she recently lessened her Vigil duties to go back to her Legionnaire duties in the Citadel. It's probably good to note that their friendship was not well known back then. Most others had the impression they couldn't stand each other. Anyway Part 1/3
Kayza struggled to keep up with him, clinging desperately to his arm as she forced her feet to keep moving forward. She hadn’t eaten in days and the lack of energy was especially obvious with her injuries. Half of her wished he hadn’t been searching, but the other half was glad. In her depression filled mind she’d almost done something irrational. Whether he knew it or not, he stopped her from making a decision she’d likely regret in the mists. Now she relied on his strength to get back to the keep. She was far too weak to heal herself and they both knew it.
“Don’t go dying on me. We’re almost there.” Despite his calm appearance and mostly even tone, she could hear the worry seeping into his deep voice.
“Just… keep moving and don’t… *cough* please don’t tell anyone what you saw.” She whispered, trusting him to keep her secret. “Heh… my paws feel like lead.” She joked hoping to ease his mind, if only a little.
“Stay with me and I’ll make sure they’re nice and comfy when we get back.”
“*cough* You’d better, Zra. I won’t let you forget.” She laughed weakly.

Really, really loved seeing this little back-story take shape as we role-played them. It fills in Zra's time in the Vigil so well, and knowing the intense reason behind her injury makes this all the more powerful. Crazy that they both knew, in their hearts, they loved each other by then - they just couldn't bring themselves to live it out.
