Alright so, this needs a little backstory. This happened in the Kaerwyn RP, and it was one of the best scenes of the entire plot we ran at the time: "Everything You Ever..." The entire town was taken over by an entity only known as "Magpie". It made my character, Endymion, her slave. And his duty was to fullfill the desires of other characters. And characters had to indulge or they would get kicked out of 'heaven'.
This character here is Isabella Snow, (Sholto's character). She bargained with Magpie to give Endymion some time off, so Isabella took his place as Magpie's personal thrall for a night.
Another person's charcter, which both will remain nameless as they did not give me permission to post, decided to ask for something very minor from Magpie in order to remain in 'heaven'. This character asked what his spirit animal was. When he refused to give the payment Magpie asked in return, it forced the Arbiter (Endymion) to return to his station to kick the character out of heaven. They were warned not to toy with Magpie with minor deals and not paying up. In doing so, Endymion did not get his night off to be with his family, and Isabella still owed Magpie for the favor.
Suffice to say, Isabella was pissed off. She even tossed her sandwich on the ground while complaining about it. Thus a new Kaerwyn saying was born.

Interesting RP plot. Hypothetical question for you. Lets say my character's desire was to stay there, in this 'heaven'. As that is sort of a side gift, free with your wish, would I then be able to stay, no payment to Magpie? I would be asking for my desire AND it would be something given with the wish. Would that craftiness work?
No.. Characters are all under Magpie anyway, getting to stay is a base neutral state. You have to do things in order to remain in Magpie's favor, just wanting to remain isn't enough. And the other characters that tried to be sneaky were swiftly removed to the wasteland.
