In our RP, the archangel Gabriel is a powerful angel with the ability to use his voice to convince people to do things for him- essentially implanting ideas into them to convince them the ideas were theirs in the first place.

To better blend in with humanity while on Terra (Earth) he dresses in human clothing and hides his wings- leaving behind the wing anchors on his back, large scar like-markings that are in the pattern in the corner across his shoulder blades.

He dresses in very classy clothing, and is usual very strict and formal with strangers.

He meets a celestial while forming the new council in Eden (heaven) and after becoming friends with Halcion, he finds that he's finally found someone he can be himself around. Gabriel is actually a very fun-loving spirit, but because of his duties he represses his real personality.

However, Halcion is the king of the celestials- and so is immensely powerful. Able to destroy worlds and suns he is way out of Gabriel's league when their feelings start to become more than friendship.

After an intense battle Halcion is badly wounded- and loses his powers as king. Leaving him scarred and broken the Celestial runs and hides in Atlantis, the one place he feels comfortable. Not knowing where Halcion has gone, Gabriel searches for him but is unable to find him. After giving up and thinking he's returned to the cosmos he buries himself back in his work and becomes the stoic angel he once was before he met the celestial.
