Look out NS 8098, Andy just became another Conrail GEVO on NS rails! I just decided to draw Andy in the "Conrail Quality" paint scheme that was originally applied to Conrail SD80MAC and SD70MAC locomotives in the 1990s and it's one of my favorite "more modern fallen flag" railroad paint schemes/liveries of all time.
The reason why I like the SD70/80MAC style "Quality" paint scheme because it's basically Conrail's equivalent of Norfolk Southern's current "Horsehead" scheme which was originally painted around the front cab windshields (now as a unibrow) and I do personally think NS "inherited" the "white around the windshield" paint straight from Conrail after they purchased most of the railroad back in 1999/2000. I personally do wish (or hope) Norfolk Southern decides to repaint one of their ex-CR SD80MAC's back to the CR Quality paint scheme since they already painted SD45-2 #1700 to Erie Lackawanna and SD40-2 #3170 (high hood) back to Southern which became NS's first "original heritage units" besides their modern versions (ES44AC & SD70ACe). Another reason why I like this scheme is because it represents Conrail's final years which shows what might've been if Conrail never got split up by NS and CSX and survived as a modern day US Class 1 freight railroad instead of an NS/CSX joint switching terminal railroad which we know today as "Conrail Shared Assets".
