Another in my series of "celebrity photos." Here I am in Burbank in 2006, posing with Alan Young and Connie Hines. Most of us old folks will remember these two actors as Wilbur and Carol Post from the TV series Mister Ed -- a favorite program of my misbegotten youth, and my ever more misbegotten adulthood. Others might also recognize Young as the voice of both Scrooge McDuck and Hiram Flaversham (the latter from Disney's The Great Mouse Detective).

They were both very polite and friendly, especially Hines who, upon discovering I was from Minnesota, immediately quizzed me on our notorious winter weather. In fact, I think she wound up asking me more questions than I did of her and Mr. Young.
