I love going out with my camera to take photos of a range of different subjects - birds, mammals, insects, plants ... if it catches my eye then I will usually catch it with my lense. However, there is one subject that still eludes me to date, and that is my friend the Blue Banded Bee. There have been several times when I have spied them in my garden, but for one reason or another, I have been unable to get a photo.

So, I painted one instead.
