I feel the need to express my condolences to those affected by the recent shooting. The furry community is one in which I have found a great deal of security and acceptance in many ways including in my sexuality. In this time of difficulty, it is paramount that we stand behind who we are and truly do take pride. As terrible as the crime is (and it is truly terrible), it is also important to recognize that there are many great kindnesses in the world and as much as I despair at news reports of the violence committed that day, I too smile at the many parades and rallies showing love and support for both the victims of the attack as well as the gay community abroad.

There are many opinions and voices vying for attention right now, but for those who have taken the time to read this, I'd like to remind you of the following speech. In my opinion, it is perhaps the most important speech given in all of human history.
