In Otterbear tribes everyone has their own job to do.

There are :
Healers
Who have a lot of knowledge about white magic.

Prey-hunters
Who feed the tribes, mostly with fish.

Island guards
They are the strongest members, they defend the others from predators

Kit-mothers
Kit mothers take care of the younge. They nurse and breed kits.

Leaders
The decision makers in the tribe

Elders
The most wise and knowledgeable, they help the leaders making decisions.

Blacksmiths
Blacksmiths make weapons, houses,... anything the Otterbears need to survive.

Demira is a Kit-mother, and a very experienced one. Most of her kits grew up to be Healers and Elders, due to her loving way of raising her little ones, she's not the one to be violent.
