At first glance, you'd tend to think she is a cold hearted bitch because she seems to be frowning at you. However when you start talking to her and getting to know Kim, she is the exact opposite. She is this warm, friendly, and bubbly individual who loves to be around others. Usually if you're a close friend, she would often surprise you with gifts of any kind or even money if you're needing any. She enjoys making others happy and it tends to make her beam with joy to see someone she cares about smiling

-Ella Fenian (Birth Mother)
Kim's biological mother *who is also a DreamWorld Aither* she left the DreamWorld a week prior to her daughter's birth and has never returned to it since then. She has basically kept Kim in the dark about her subtype and somewhat successfully convinced her that she's of the Magus subtype.

Also, Kim was conceived/born out of wedlock and Ella was not engaged to or married to Kim's biological father. So she's pretty much an illegitimate child.

Has never met or seen him in her entire life.

Basically they (he and Ella) had a fling that lasted for a good couple of months before they parted ways. In which the fling involved an intimate relationship. Only a month after he left her did she find out she was carrying his child, and tried in vain to look for him. However was nowhere to be found

Even though she's not heard of him, he's just found about his estranged child and has tried to contact Ella.

Her adopted father, a Magus Aither who served as a soldier

He came across Ella, who had been sitting on the side of the road one night, while returning home from a pub near home. She was pretty much in pain and on the verge of going into labor and told him she had nowhere to go. Surprised and worrying for the stranger's safety, Roark brought her to his home, where his sister had been staying for a couple of weeks to spend time with him.

After bringing her home and the birth, he offered her a place to stay with him, in which she tried to tell him that she should repay him for his hospitality. However he only told her she need no sort of repayment to give him.

So he not only took her in, but the child too, in which his personality rubs off on the whelp in due time.
