No idea honestly. Its part of a complex that included a theater and golf course. Was bought by new owners. Then, one by one, everything closed. The dinner theater was gonna be closed anyway and golf course wasn't profitable, but this pool always had plenty of members to keep it going
From the thumbnail I almost thought it looked like the old Pleasureland park in Oakland.
