After discussion, it was determined, despite the name, that this is not a Hoplite Yinglet, but rather a Macedonian Phalanx Yinglet, due to the armament of a Sarissa instead of the shorter Dory. To compensate for the larger spear, the shield is smaller on a Macedonian Phalanx than it is on a Hoplite Phalanx.
