Doesn't seem a very even match eh? She does have the soul of the previous incarnation of that phoenix, trapped within the gemstone of her sword, though, so it's not as bad as it seems. Although having an extremely powerful fire elemental with a confused juvenile mind is not exactly very good either, especially when you can't kill it permanently due to this particular Phoenix being the one that reincarnates every time it dies...

resurrection or reincarnation? sorry for prodding but for a dedicated gamer like me there is a huge difference.
either way, nice and dynamic scenery, and the perspective looks great. ^^

Ah yeah, I meant reincarnation, though it does keep its previous knowledge and wisdom. So... the body reincarnates, but the soul/spirit is the same, so it's practically immortal, except that it can still die any number of times, as long as the soul does not somehow get trapped in something else, in which case the Phoenix gets truely reborn.
The only thing I was really dissappointed in this was that I couldn't show off the Phoenix's really long whiplike tail... next time I guess.
