Nah, he's as elastic as he needs to be thankfully (though he hasn't actually truly tested his limits), it's just that, just because it can expand impressively, doesn't mean it can handle being so jostled. That, and there's something about live prey making the pred a bit nauseous that I find an interesting psuedo-realism that I'd like to see a little more.
