It has been a bit since I uploaded anything due to work and motorsport, but here is the next chapter of "The Ravens".
"The Ravens" is the very beginning to the my Dungeons & Dragons/Pathfinder character Iosw Silves who is also my Fursona. The difference bewteen the two is gender. Being male my Fursona follows for it is who I am as a person. My Pathfinder character however, is female. All of my characters regardless of game are almost always female when the choice is given, especially when the character is either seen or heard by the player.
There has been a slight name change across both of my stories. The character who is currently known as 'Wolf' is now Hans Wolfgang. My own name finally caught up and made me feel childish for naming a character after the my own name. Honestly Hans is who I want to be like as a person, but the story is fiction and is not real. I may sound like a hypocrite for saying Hans was also one of my nicknames, but that was only for Deutschklasse. (German class) I have always loved German culture and tried to learn as much as I could about it. I attend a few classes to learn how to speak the language, but I am nowhere near fluent. Most of the languages seen throughout the two stories are from google translate. :(
I apologize for the rambling, but you can find out more about myself and the three parts to my Pathfinder/Fursona's backstory in my journal once I post it. ;p

The Ravens
Chapter Eleven: A New Order Part 1 Visitors
The following was taken from the Harbinger of Chaos’s private Journal.
Weapons of Mass Destruction. Everyone seeks them. After the atomic bombings of Nagasaki and Hiroshima, the world sought to develop similar weapons. The year is 1950 the Union of Soviet Socialist Republic has successfully detonated a nuclear device.
The concept of the atomic bomb and Nuclear Fission began with Henri Becquerel’s discovery of Radioactive Decay in 1896. 1917, the Father of Nuclear Physics Ernest Rutherford observed the first nuclear reaction by transmuting Nitrogen into Oxygen. This showed that radioactive elements decay in cycles suggesting that a radioactive element would decay and transform into another isotope until it became stable. In 1932 Ernest Walton and John Cockcroft split a Lithium-7 atom. Later Mark Oliphant fused two Deuterium nuclei into a Helium nucleus. Within the same year, James Chadwick discovered the neutron. It was soon discovered late 1938 that Uranium will fission after being bombarded with neutrons. A month later the isotope Uranium-235 was discovered particularly responsible for the fission. Leó Szilárd then soon realized the possibility of a neutron powered fission with heavy atoms such as Uranium-235 could potentially create and sustain a nuclear chain reaction. This reaction would then in turn release unimaginable amounts of energy to be used for electricity or as a weapon.
The detonation of the first two bombs in Japan were meant to end war. Nuclear Fission was technology with peace and prosperity in mind. Not a weapon of war, but now the nations of the world fight each other over the technology in attempts to use the bomb for themselves.

Present day.
A knocking at the door disturbed the silence.
Hans set down the news paper he was reading on the table in front of him. Natasha gave him a confused look from behind the book she was reading and cocked her head. He returned her look as he stood up from his reclining chair.
Hans and Natasha had returned to Russia directly after the end of World War Two. They built a hovel as Hans called it deep within the Ural mountains of Siberia. They lived miles away from any form of civilization in complete desolation.
“We are here alone… So, who can be at the door?” Hans thought as he grabbed his LP08 from its holster that hung from a nearby rack. He pulled on the bolt to chamber a round and walked to the front door as another series of knocks interrupted the silence. Hans slowly and quietly approached the door and looked through a crack to see who was outside with his pistol ready. Behind the door were two men in business suits. One was Russian while the other was American. Two bitter enemies standing side by side in peace.
“We know you are home.” The Russian declared.
Hans held the pistol out of sight and opened the door.
“What do you want?” He asked sourly.
“Where’s your wife?” The American asked. “We need to talk to her too.”
“Tash. They want both of us.” Hans said as he turned his head over his right shoulder.
“Tell them I’m not decent.” Natasha replied just loud enough for Hans to hear.
“She’s not available. You see___”
“We can wait… We just want to talk.” The American interrupted.
“You’re not welcome here.” Hans declared.
Natasha decided it would be best to get up and confront the strangers. They were not going to leave anyway.
“Yes?” Natasha questioned as she approached the door.
“Damn furries.” The Russian muttered.
“So… I’ve been dying to know all these years. Is that a fursuit or are you the real thing?” The American asked.
“Why don’t you come closer. I’m willing to bet you’ll find out real quick… She hasn’t eaten anything worth while for quite some time.” Hans replied as Natasha licked her chops.
“Do you know these people?” The Russian asked the American.
“No, but I recognize them… They were at the Washington Monument the day President Roosevelt died and he was there for Japan’s surrender ending World War Two. Also we are not afraid of that pistol behind your back.”
“Why are you here?” Hans asked as he pulled the weapon from behind his back and pointed its long barrel at the American.
“See. I told he was a fuckin Nazi…” The American said to his comrade as he looked at him. He then returned his view to the front to see Hans and Natasha. “I am Agent Smith, former CIA and this is Sergei, former KGB. We___
“Former?” Hans interrupted.
“Yes.” The Russian replied with a thick accent. “We no longer serve our countries interests. We are part of a secret organization that is unofficially commissioned by the United Nations. As a whole, we are the world’s elite soldiers. Our mission is to balance the world and prevent the destruction of mankind through world war.”
“You can put that weapon away Hans… We just want to talk about our organization and ask you to join.” The Smith explained. “May we come in?”
“No.” Hans and Natasha replied in unison.
“You stay out here.” Hans declared with his LP08 steady in his hands. “We will talk peacefully. If that is not acceptable, I will kill you here and now.”
“That won’t do you any good.” Sergei replied. “We transmitted our last location an hour ago… If we don’t report within a day, our controllers will assume we have died and send more to talk.”
“So, men like us will bother you until we get an answer…” Smith began. “We want only the best and please tell me. Who is better than the both of you? Who is better than the elite Nazi shock trooper sniper and the demon of Moscow?” There was a pause. “I’ll tell you who… None… Hans you were the best the Wehrmacht ever trained, but that was not without the help of our Soviet friend I presume.”
Natasha nodded in agreement.
“Natasha, the Demon of Moscow… Engineered to be the absolute best. If I remember my studies correctly, no one has ever gotten away with assassinating the President, but you both have accomplished that.” Sergei declared.
“One reason to join us is to remain anonymous. We can at any moment reveal your identities to the world… You are safe where you are for the Commies won’t give you up. They would most likely celebrate you, but the Americans will want you dead with every fiber of their being. Eventually they will catch you and put you on trial for your crimes. You will die Hans. Not only will they try you for killing their leader, you will be tried for the war crimes you and your faction have committed especially after we tell them about your direct connections to your Führer.” Smith explained.
“Blackmail… Really?” Hans replied. “And what is this they?”
“As I said, I am former CIA. I serve the United Nations directly. I have no ties to the United States of America and the same is for Sergei. We need you to join us of your own free will…”
“So, if we say no, you will leave us alone?” Natasha asked.
“No. We put a bounty on your heads. A bounty so high that every one of us will want to take you. You’ll be on the run for the rest of your lives… Being hunted like animals by the world’s most elite soldiers.” Sergei explained.
“What if I said, I’ll think it about it?”
“We need her answer too.” Smith stated.
She’ll think about it.” Hans replied as he slammed the door in men’s faces.
“We will be back in two days for our answer.” One of the men said through the door as Hans engaged the dead bolt lock.
Hans and Natasha retreated to their living room and sat back down in their respective spots. They were silent as they picked up their reading material and continued reading as if they were not interrupted. After a few moments, Hans put down the old news paper about the start of the Korean War.
“We should join.” He declared.
Natasha slammed her book closed and said, “I thought we vowed that we were not going to fight anymore.”
“We did, but whether we like it or not they are going to take the fight to us… This organization, the United Nations. They will hunt us down. We are both criminals… You for helping me kill the President of America and I have committed unforgivable atrocities will serving mein Führer.”
“I pray that you have moved on from those ideals.” Natasha replied.
Hans got up from his chair and sat down next to Natasha on the couch. He looked into her yellow eyes and said with a soft tone, “Not all of them. I no longer believe in a superior race for I met you…” Hans paused to smile at his beloved mate and his right arm around her shoulders. “However, I still believe in an ordered central government… Maybe with this United Nations it can happen and we will see an era of peace.”
“Hans.” Natasha replied softly. “Even if that is true… What will happen to us? We currently live in peace. Once the humans learn to stop fighting each other, they will come after us. They will see us as a threat to their survival as a species and will seek to eliminate us. Even though we mean them no harm, the entire world will seek to destroy us… We need to pack up and move again. Stay hidden and let the humans solve their problems.”
“Tash… They are already pitting against us. The UN will send everything the world’s most elite warriors to kill us if we refuse. Even if we run, they will hunt us like a stag until we are trapped in their cold clutches… Maybe it is time for us to abandon the shadows and step into the light. Show the humans who and what we are. Show them the error in their ways…”
“There you go again with your idealistic speeches.” Natasha said with a sad tone. “I know we both dream of the idea of peace, but it’s unachievable on the scale we wanted. Now we need to keep to ourselves, only then will we find the peace we have been searching for.”
“You heard the men, if we refuse they will come after us. Living on the run isn’t my idea of peace.”
“We know how to disappear. We can move to the other side of the world where they will never find us.”
“But how long will it last?”
“Forever.”
“I would love to believe that, but we’ve already disappeared and they found us. They were friendly this time, but what happens when they get upset…?” Hans paused. “We are immortal Natasha. We can do whatever we want and don’t have to worry about time for we have it all at our disposal. We can do whatever we want for eternity and I want to spend it with you. But I don’t want to keep hiding in this shadow, I don’t want to live looking over my shoulder for eternity. This planet has a finite amount of space… They will find us if they look hard and long enough no matter where we go.”
“There is always a way… I don’t want to fight anymore. We vowed to end the fighting.”
“I know, but our job isn’t finished…” Hans paused. “Remember. I’m a war criminal and I’m not going to go quietly. I will die before they take me for we have a purpose that we must fulfill…”
“It’s impossible… We were foolish to think that we can bring peace to the world.” Natasha declared beginning to become upset.
“Natasha.” Hans said annoyed. “We only have each other and I cannot bear to lose you. If we turn to run, they will hunt us down and separate us forever… They will take me away and subject me to the most severe forms of torture until I break. There will be nothing left to save at that point. You will be alone.”
“Hun. We can do what we want. We are free___”
“ONLY YOU ARE FREE!” Hans yelled angrily. “Do you think I want to be like this? You could have killed me, you could have shot me and left me to die, but no… You have me trapped. I am cursed for eternity because of you. Now I will live forever in this hell we call our world. It will be hard to kill me for I will soak up the damage like a sponge… Forever will I be cursed to walk this earth. And it wasn’t enough to ruin my life, you suggest that I walk it alone…”
“That’s not what I am trying to say.” Natasha replied almost at the verge of tears. He was right. She could have done many things differently like kill the German Ace Sniper, but she did not and it was all in the past now. Natasha loved Hans with every fiber of her being, but she couldn’t help feel responsible for his well being and try to bring him happiness.
Hans realizing what he had said, adopted a softer tone, “Natasha… I love you and nothing can change that. I don’t blame you for what had happened those many years ago. What happened, happened and there is nothing we can do about it. This is the greatest gift you have given me, but know that it can easily be seen as a curse… All I want is to walk this land with you my love, but I want to walk free and not under the shackles of the darkness… I love you too much to let go, but we need to step into the light. Our goal has not changed. With you at my side we are invincible and we will be able to bring peace on a global scale.”
“I love you too.” Natasha replied in a somber tone. “I disagree with your plans, but I will follow you.”
“This time we will do it right… Together”
