Also, for some strange reason, Picturing that whole 12 hour lockout thing being timed itself.
If roo doesn't take'em off after the 12 hours are up, misses her chance and can't take them off until the next 12 hour shift.
Which doesn't bode well if there are any poor, helpless birds still within.

OMG, I dreamed of "shrink boots" too, long long ago.
I figure that's why Osiris hi-top skater sneakers/trainers were so popular:
they were so colorful and fun inside that NOBODY could resist
looking and poking inside 'em,
close enough for the suck-n-shrink magic to trap 'em inside until released
by an up close and fun barefoot session.
Lotsa hi-tops are worn barefooted! YUM! YAY!
