The black one is TOO dark and conflicts with the lines. I think it'd be better if a little bit of brown was added into the black, and if it was lightened up just a little!

I do like the other two, and I feel like if they had more distinctive/unique markings they'd really stand out!
As it stands the middle one just feels a lot more like a character.

EDIT: Try making the black one somewhere around R: 058, G: 053, B: 052
There is just a hint of brown to the black, and it's not too dark so the linework is a lot clearer.

Now I want to make a sheep.

ya i noticed the lines looked REALLY light, i tried to make them darker but i dont know much about sai, i dont like how they look lighter then the black XO

BUT YA i wanted to make sheep forever but i just had the waitress base and some others which didnt really have sheep fluff? but this one had it and oh lordy lu i went crazy

you should try tan or brown as well for the fur color n.n
