Here's a rare shot of two planes relatively close to each other, or as close as airline safety dictates.
Both flights departed from different runways at KLAX, and are headed to their own destinations.
The smaller jet is a United 737-900ER, on its way to Chicago. The larger aircraft is an Air Tahiti Nui A340-300, and is flying to Paris.

Air Tahiti Nui ROCKS!!! I just love liveries that some airlines come up with for their planes, and I think Air Tahiti Nui's is one of the best looking!
