this might be lock 28. Another good location is Lander lock, just east of Brunswick, or better yet, lock 44 in Williamsport Md. Both are unchanged from their 1920's appearance.
Very nice photo. But I must say, a bit dark/contrasty for my liking. Then again, it may be the web and/or my 'puter screen. I guess I'd need to see your print!

Close, it's lock 29, Lander Lock. The fact that it's reversed may be throwing you off. It's only about 5 or 6 miles from me so I spend a goodly amount of time down there.
