This little one is the child of Trixie Lulamoon and Starlight Glimmer. His name’s Daybreak Shine and he’s not fond of frivolity and joking around. This, understandably does not endear him to the other fillies and colts at the school yard. He’s hardworking, studious, and above all else, a perfectionist.

His magic is strong and while he’s not usually one to brag, he takes great amounts of pride in it and can sometimes show off. When he does, he gives his friends no end of grief.

Daybreak Shine was born as Dawn Glisten. Dawn Glisten was a filly, and felt she was born in the wrong body. While her natural colors of light blue with a magenta mane were perfectly fine for a filly, Dawn knew she was a colt. After some time, she confessed her feelings on her body to her mothers. Both were very accepting and encouraging. A few spells to change his mane color, a visit to the mayor, and Dawn Glisten was rechristened as Daybreak Shine.
