Well, I dunno. I just wanted to draw them all doing...something normal. Not looking cool, not bloated, not with huge beachball tits or penises growing out of their foreheads or fighting giant monsters or reading fanletters or CHARGIN' THEIR LAZORZ...though no disrespect to anyone who likes to draw them that way. =3

Granted some of this would be impossible for some of these guys, after all, a good portion of them only have so much normal in their lives. Minerva and Rouge I tried to keep as in-character as possible. I haven't seen Animaniacs in a long, long time, but I sort or remember Minerva being greedy, bossy and sort of a flirt. In that respect, I probably should have drawn her down-talking Rouge, but I settled for having her shoot a glance at Flamedramon.

Krystal, I wasn't sure about. I only played Starfox Adventures. I remember her being a nice girl. Noble, caring, and willing to help out. So here she is, apologizing that her oddly familiar-looking dog caused Miss Lucaria's little Renomon to spill his Italian Ice.

As for Flamedramon, Renamon, and the Lucario, I tried to accentuate on the fact that these guys are a species, not just individuals, especially in the case of the Digimons.

So the gold-armored Flamedramon is content to sit and read his book instead of yapping at Davis (Daisuke?) to go stop BlackWarGrayMon (or whoever the fuck they were trying to kill in that season), and Miss Lucaria is too busy trying to control her little Renomon ward to wonder about were that traitor bastard Sir Aaron went off to. And the Renomon is an impetuous, willfull little thing. Those two were meant to be coming from the sprinklers (thus, the towel) but I realized that they wouldn't have swimsuits or floaters or what-have-you, so the effect is kind of lost.

The lineart and colors for this were all done in three seperate OC files, one for the background, one for the background characters, and a last one for the foreground characters. Probably nothing special for most of you, but this was the first time I'd done something like that. I'm rather used to drawing everything on one layer, no matter how big it is.

Also, I'm kind of starting to understand why there's so much art of Krystal (porn or otherwise). I had a lot of fun drawing and coloring her. However, because her clothes were so detailed, I took a lot of liberties, thus her more modern-day outfit. Same with Minerva, actually. She seems to like glamorous, old-fasioned outfits, but I supposed it wouldn't hurt to have the girl get with the times. X3

It was kind of fun to take these characters out of their usual roles and put them somewhere completely different, the art for this was a learning process. Oh, and I fucked up Krystal and Minerva's clothes.
