I've played it. The game is hard at times, and I positively HATE that you aren't allowed to actually target which enemy you want to attack. Either front row or back row depending on weapons. It's annoying, but for the most part it was fun.

I feel like I'm the only one who liked the auto-targeting ahah, though I can understand everyone else's frustrations.

Every time I replay it I always forget how hard it is lol

It's a Final Fantasy game, difficulty is to be expected. Although I never minded the gem system used for upgrading the Hats.

Well, designed after the old-school Final Fantasies anyway. And yeah, the gems were a neat idea! Really, I feel like 4 Heroes of Light had a lot of neat ideas, I feel they should explore them again sometime.

Definitelt, just so long as they let you choose a target and don't make things so heavily about elemental advantages, since the game really did make you need to change elements a lot.
