Got this from  appendagechild who I also wholly recommend for the detail and effort they put in on this and also the poking I put them through in our attempts to get stuff the way I wanted it. Appendagechild worked for a few hours on this and it is amazing <3

Now the explanation. Is that Garrus? What?

Basically if you guys remember or know of my friend's naga I helped him create here > http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5201528/ , the story I'm kinda going with at the moment and what already exists, is that Miro was transformed from a gecko to a banded krait with certain features that helped support Garrus as a symbiote. His goo could be shared and acted as a liquid energy substance that only symbiotes descended from Garrus or he himself could drink and have no negative effects from.

Now that Garrus as a symbiote has caused much infestation across the galaxy, making people into rubbery symbiote hosts, he has reached a point where he has become a supportive form almost identical to Miro except for that he is still a symbiote rather than a being like the hosts he spreads himself to. His bonding with a host is now so efficient that excess energy can now manifest itself inside him as blue bio-latex goo.

His body evolves over time anyway but this is a major change, while he was and always has been genetically and dominantly a cobra from birth, it seems his rapid evolution (compared to the millions of years seen across multiple lifetimes) has adorned him with the potency of the banded sea krait which he gave form to in Miro's new body. He was to follow this trend eventually, as Miro was the first out of necessity.

He'll still have features seen before, he does have a mouth in this image which is pretty much for show right now. Though he has to concentrate to shapeshift one onto his face. He is still goo and functions in very much the same if not any different to before, only exception being that when he is in purely liquid form, his black and white and clear layer may act like oil and water, but all the way around his blue goo. Mixing only when he wishes it to.

(Some reasons for the change - I've been a blue snake for like 10 years, I loved  tereus's Miro character's design so much and I've wanted to incorporate black and white colour in somehow. This means I can have opaqueness and transparency as defined and consistent features. It also is easier to draw as I found the tiger stripes were becoming inconsistent across art and were difficult for people to draw.)
